I would just like to briefly comment that I am now having my second cup of coffee at 4:30 p.m., and I started my day at 4 this morning.  I swear my body will just kill me one day for what I’ve been putting it through. My job is actually at a coffeeshop and I had to open today. It isn’t all that bad since I often get off around noon, but sometimes the body just does not want to do anything else for the rest of the day. 

Anyways, on a brighter note it’s Friday and tomorrow is Halloween! I am so excited for it, and I’m not really sure why. Not that I’ve never liked Halloween, but something is different this year. This week I’ve packed in Halloween-related things whenever I’ve had some free time.

• Monday: I actually had off from the internship Monday, and I spent the day at Cox Farms. I used to go here all the time when I was a kid, and it was so great to revisit this place.  I also picked out a rather massive pumpkin and got some delicious apple butter!
• Wednesday: I’ve been baking for quite awhile, but this time I actually developed my own recipe for pumpkin cookies with cream cheese frosting. They were absolutely delicious, and I wish I had the chance to take some of these but they were quickly distributed amoung coworkers and family members (mostly my sister down at college—she had been demanding cookies!)
• Thursday: Last night I decorated the house with Halloween decorations outside to hopefully get some trick-or-treaters tomorrow (the numbers have been kind of dwindling over the years), and I also carved my pumpkin! The ants quickly found it though.  This morning my poor thing was covered in them! Oh well…at least it’s only for a few days. Also, I saved all the pumpkin seeds and I’m going to try to roast some this weekend.  I’ve never roasted pumpkin seeds, and I honestly cannot remember having any before so I’m interested to see what they’re like.
• Tonight: I’m going to see my friend perform in her play tonight, which isn’t all that Halloween related, but afterwards we will be watching Halloween movies and no doubt Halloween candy will be present as well! Haha!

I took pictures throughout this entire week, and I’m hoping to get around to editing and posting some tomorrow.  It’s all just about the matter of finding the time.  I’m also seriously considering having a third cup of coffee…this cannot be a good sign.
