‘The World Spins Madly On’

Before anymore time goes flying by, here are some pictures from the end of December. First off are ones from when the Northeast became a goregous winter wonderland!

Even though I wish the car wasn’t in the picture I love this to bits. It’s a wonderful candid of my sister.

And then just a few days after the snowfall came, my family fled down to the south to visit relatives. Every year, my sister and I decorate a gingerbread house. My mom believes that we are too old for it now, but we insist on it every year. It’s tradition! This one had to be one of the best we ever made, and it certainly had a short life span.

This gingerbread house was a bit more unique than previous ones. When my sister was unwrapping one of the reindeer, she found that the head was not connected to the body! So of course we had to include it in the decorations, and below is the result. We also had little gingerbread men to boot.

I’m pretty sure the roof collapsed just after two days. All around though it was a fabulous house, and it’s going to be hard to beat next year!

Now to move on and focus on the year 2010!
