Today is one of those days where I am doing anything and everything except what I actually need to be doing! Although I also have not developed my photographs yet, but that is mostly because of lack time and money—always an issue. I am supposed to be doing schoolwork, and instead I have been looking at blogs, sending e-mails, finding new music, etc., etc.
Come to think of it, I am not sure I ever outright mentioned that I am now going to graduate school. I was accepted back in November, but it was difficult to make the decision to actually attend and I was incredibly nervous before classes began. I wasn’t nervous because of the difficulty but for the fear of discovering this is not the career path I wanted to go down. Thankfully after orientation and the first day of classes I felt completely excited for the classes themselves and the possibilities that could follow. However, now I’m completely avoiding my readings for tomorrow’s lecture. It’s not that I’m not interested. I just can’t focus! Along with my useless browsings, I did find this particular artist named Alice Sara Ott. She was born Japanese, and is a German concert pianist. Classical music isn’t typically what I go for, but she is incredibly talented! You can check out her website here, or buy her CD either off of iTunes or Amazon. I feel like her music would be great to listen to while studying or even during a photoshoot.
Hopefully by the end of this weekend I will have my photographs developed and be able to share them with you all! But for now, it’s time to get back to work. Or at least try to.
